The Status of Human Centric Lighting Today

Here’s a piece of good news: we’re introducing a new Podcast feature for 2020.  In the first year of The Light Review, we’ve had some wonderful content from lighting experts from all around the industry. We want to take this forward as a regular feature, so look out for new podcast material, as we develop a library of audio content in the coming months .

I was invited to join the lightspace platform at LuxLive 2019 to talk about that most contentious of topics . . . where is Human Centric Lighting headed, and are we obliged to follow? Before the event I was asked if it would be possible to share the presentation with those not able to attend.

As a last-minute exercise in making-do (and making it up as we go along), I put my mobile phone next to a monitor and hoped for the best. BBC broadcast quality, it ain’t, but I hope there’s enough of interest in the content to keep you listening.

And don’t think you’re missing any of the PowerPoint slides – because there weren’t any. (that’s my commitment to you: to strike a blow against the tyranny of the PowerPoint presentation!)

And if you want to make a comment on my presentation, you can go to the Forums section of The Light Review and make your views known.
