Footfall Lighting: at Marlborough College

This famous school wanted to light up its impressive main entrance of the Memorial Hall in a dramatic way while avoiding light pollution. Footfall measured the areas to be illuminated by LED handrails and supplied the school with lighting simulations that demonstrated the required illuminance levels, an exercise that included a handrail required to illuminate the stone plaque of the school’s alumni.

Footfall used it’s F48 light modules, confident that these LED handrails would deliver years of trouble-free service, not only because of their impressive performance but also with their 20-year provenance of illuminating rail stations, airports, ski resorts, colleges, and Universities.

Designed and manufactured in Somerset by the company, these products are constantly updated with the latest advances in LED technology. Produsts and tested by the UK’s leading laboratories to meet all relevant standards and, most critically, tested ‘as fitted’ within the stainless-steel handrails to ensure a perfect fit and complete traceability.

Quality Control is overseen by our UKAS ISO 9001-2015 approvals as well as specific industry applicable standards.
