We’ve heard from the Recolight back office that things are going Splendidly in the run-up to the Circular Economy conference on Thursday 22 October. Here’s what we’ve learned.
Registrations for conference
So popular has the event become that the conference has been moved to a bigger room at The Crystal – and that means another fifty or so seats are available.
The majority of registrants are senior managers and company directors and that is also a Good Sign. It suggests that this is a topic that has finally gained traction in the manufacturing and specifying community. There are those of us who’ve been waiting for this day!
And for those of us who’ve been questioning the viability of the traditional conference model, the good news is that the event will be live streamed. if you’re not dancing on the cutting edge of IT, that means that you can watch the conference events unfurl in real-time while sitting at the comfort of your own desk. Save your petrol – save your planet!
Not yet confirmed, but being spoken about: there’s a chance that the presentations will eventually end up on YouTube. In this brave new world that will mean you’ll be able to share the conference content with your own staff, in your own time.
The final agenda is on the Recolight website.
Latest additions to the platform are:
- Maya de Souza, Head of Circular Economy Policy & International Engagement Team, Defra
- Ourania Georgoutsakou, Secretary General, LightingEurope
