Something that we know: there are aspects of lighting design/specification that doesn’t always get the kind of attention that it deserves. One of those is emergency lighting – but that’s for another time – because this conversation is about exterior lighting and the problems that so often accrue when the exercise is not taken seriously.. A poor approach to Obtrusive Lighting can become a very expensive mistake to correct. Its best not to make the mistake in the first place. But that means taking exterior lighting – and obtrusive light – very seriously indeed.
