We’re just a handful of weeks away from this year’s Strategies in Light conference, running online for the two days of 24 – 25 August. Originally planned for the Santa Clara Convention Center in California, the conference inevitably moved online due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic . . . and that’s great news for all those us who wouldn’t have been making the trip to California for reasons of that other ongoing pandemic, the climate crisis.
.The Conference Program is published on the Strategies in Light website. Find it here:
Of particular interest in this manor is the session on Wednesday 25th (at 2.30pm CDT – 8.30pm BST) when John Bullock (!) will be talking about Going Beyond: When Illuminating Engineering Becomes Lighting Design. I’ll be looking at the creative shift that happens when the lighting codes are sublimated to a different way of seeing things (literally and metaphorically).
As a trailer to the main event, LEDs magazine has also published a supporting article on the topic. As ever, I get the Last Word.
