John Bullock talks Value Engineering with Peter Earle

Ever since I got involved in publishing and took to spending a lot of time with manufacturers I’ve heard the same plea: “We really need to do something about this.” The this about which we really need to do something is spec. swapping, aka Value Engineering.

So let’s talk about Value Engineering and what it means in practice. My good friend Pete Earle had nothing better to do one Monday afternoon than come over to Weymouth and talk to me about this most contentious and, let’s face it, hated practice.
